I’m a postgraduate engineer with over 25 years in oil and gas, where I’ve worked across drilling, completions, interventions, sand management, and production optimisation. My career began in the design of downhole equipment and has since expanded into tackling broader challenges of efficiency, integrity, and performance in complex field operations.
More recently, my focus has included government-backed carbon capture and storage (CCS) programmes and field development planning for international operators. These experiences have reinforced my belief that the energy industry must harness both established expertise and innovative technologies to meet the twin demands of energy security and decarbonisation.
I share insights through technical papers and industry collaboration, with a view to contributing to the collective knowledge that will guide the sector forward. I’m especially interested in how we can bridge traditional oil and gas engineering with low-carbon solutions, creating a practical path for the energy transition.
